1. Football Twitter & Football in general has a very serious bigotry problem.
2. It is high time that France Football has restructured the criteria for the Ballond’or solely for the fact that it now seems as a collection of players from teams that won “big” trophies than it is really what the award should be: Best players in the world for that particular year.
3. Most of trophy logic is dumb.
4. Salah aesthetics narrative is as boring as the Trent defending one. Just say you don't like him. You can't use goals, assists or any other attacking metric because he blows every other player away, so you use some lazy untrue point about how he plays.

5. Transfer fees do play a huge role in how signings are percieved(obv depending on skin colour, club you play for, etc.) Some players will never be worth the price even at peak perfomance(e.g. Antony)
6. I’ll always love football the sport but the discourse around it has never been worse. It’s the sport for incels and weird trolls these days. Football has lost its cool factor.
7. The amount of awards that Kevin De Bruyne has won due to people/journos just assuming he has probably had a good season than checking if he actually has is crazy & disappointing.
8. Stats are actually a workable measure to determine how good a player/team is since they are performance based but should not be the only option. By stats,i mean underlying numbers & not just G/A.
9. Eye test logic is so... cause everyone is biased(whether we like it or not) & I would like to add that we should all examine how our biases affect player evaluations.
Rice plays like Kantè but because he LOOKS a certain way , people expect him to do the things Kroos & Jorginho do.
But he plays like Kantè & no one has ever asked Kantè to play like Kroos because....IYKYK [The way this could be an article on its own]
10. Footballers, Football Clubs and Football as a whole are still at the end of the day , money making institutions so therefore will most likely be on the wrong side of history with their stances and actions on anything(Sportswashing) . This does not absolve them of any accountability and should be held to a higher moral standard.
11. Manchester United fans are the dumbest fans in the whole of football. Which fanbase apart from ours that hates players that actually make us a better team while celebrating those who don't. Big reason why #20 is still employed at the club. Hence Rashford & Maguire(Bruno too) are crucified & held to standards that only apply to them while gassing up mid players( Baily, Van De Beek Dalot).
12. Tuchel's Chelsea UCL win > City's UCL win.
13. The main reason clubs & fans alike(too an extent) were against the idea of Super League was because of the fact that no one would have loved to see their club becoming mid-table in real time.
14. You can't call & campaign for the humanisation of footballers as a footballer while simultaneously refusing to participate in campaigns that help humanise footballers.
